About the job

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for the customer portfolio in Belgium (Flemish part) and the Netherlands.
After a few weeks of intensive training on their entire product range with the Belgian and French team, your main tasks for the coming year will be to:

  • Manage existing clients, crossell and upsell opportunities
  • Take over inbound leads from partners, editors and marketing strategies
  • Prospect new clients in Belgium and the Netherlands
  • Analyze the different markets and sectors to identify key opportunities for new business
  • Contribute in the design of business plans and actions
  • Regularly visits clients on site 
  • Overall, actively contribute to the business growth of new territories and sectors

About the ideal candidate

  • You are curious and eager to learn new things, you seek new challenges and personal development opportunities
  • You have good listening skills, you are organized, and manage your time effectively 
  • You are resilient and have the ability to understand client profiles, to determine the best sales approach
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English with a satisfactory level of French for internal meetings
  • No technical scientific skills required, but eagerness to deep dive into the SaaS and scientific industries
