Innovation Leaders using Intel® oneAPI Cross-architecture Tools Solutions Home Blog News Innovation Leaders using Intel® oneAPI Cross-architecture Tools 17/06/2021 OneAPI is driving a new era of accelerated computing across XPU architectures (CPU, GPU, FPGA, other accelerators). Innovation leaders from ANSYS, Brightskies, Dell, GoogleCloud, Samsung Medison, Stephen Hawking Center for Theoretical Cosmology (CTC), and Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) are forging the way sharing how Intel oneAPI Cross-architecture Tools deliver performance and capabilities that simplify heterogeneous development. OneAPI’s open, unified, cross-architecture programming is standards-based, and provides freedom of choice in hardware removing the economic and technical burdens of proprietary models. Intel® oneAPI Toolkits provide foundational tools that help developers realize the full value of Intel CPUs, GPUs and FPGAs, and develop performant code quickly and correctly. The center will use the OneAPI heterogeneous programming model to accelerate computation for research conducted with GROMACS, advancing solutions for some of the world’s biggest life science challenges. As part of this research, massive HPC simulations will be deployed leveraging CPUs and GPUs from multiple vendors (Intel, Nvidia, AMD) to achieve new levels of efficiency and performance.
