The digital transformation of public health actors

The use of digital technology is generating new types of data and new ways of working, which accompany the digitization of public health. Data is at the heart of public health and digital technology offers new ways to collect this data, through shared interfaces (e.g. ELN, CTMS, LIMS), connected tools that offer a new way to link different data sources to optimize their analysis.

Thus, public health organizations ,governmental and non-governmental, can work with data, be more efficient and communicate with the public.

For example, digital acquisition of administrative data has significantly improved tracking of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, digitization of the public health sector is necessary to make prevention, surveillance, and public health responses more effective.
