Durch den Einsatz von Intel\u00ae Xeon\u00ae CPU Max 9480 Prozessoren und die Optimierungen von Intel\u00ae oneAPI konnte die JMA die Genauigkeit und Geschwindigkeit ihrer Wettervorhersagen erheblich verbessern \u2013 ein entscheidender Faktor zur Vorhersage von Taifunen und Starkregen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die JMA ist Japans f\u00fchrende Beh\u00f6rde f\u00fcr meteorologische, hydrologische und seismische \u00dcberwachung und Vorhersage. Mit der zunehmenden Intensit\u00e4t von Taifunen und extremen Wetterereignissen muss sie kontinuierlich ihre numerischen Wettervorhersagemodelle (NWP) weiterentwickeln, um pr\u00e4zise Daten f\u00fcr Beh\u00f6rden und die Bev\u00f6lkerung bereitzustellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2024 hat die JMA ihre 11. Generation von Supercomputern eingef\u00fchrt, die von Fujitsu entwickelt und mit Intel Xeon CPU Max 9480 Prozessoren ausgestattet sind, die \u00fcber 64 GB High-Bandwidth-Memory (HBM) pro Sockel verf\u00fcgen.
